Registered Nurse – Oncology in Geneva, New York. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 22–26 week travel assignment on a Short Term Acute Care Hospital medical-surgical unit. Responsibilities
- Assess patient and family needs; develop and implement an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Deliver direct nursing care, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition with clinical judgment and compassion.
- Educate patients and families; provide discharge planning and self-care guidance to support health beyond hospitalization.
- Coordinate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure care is aligned with patient goals and updated as conditions evolve.
- Promote infection prevention, safety, and a healing environment; document education and patient responses to care.

Requirements
- Active New York State RN licensure
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years’ RN experience in a Med/Surg environment
- Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting with day/night variable shifts; willingness to participate in on-call shifts (2 on-call shifts in a 4-week period)
