General Description The Facilitator of Collaborative Inquiry must be a certified teacher who will assist the building principal, assistant principals (if applicable), and Curriculum Directors in facilitating collaborative meetings involving curriculum development, data analysis, instructional impact, and other specified building-based duties. Qualifications Certified teacher implementing all core curricula with integrity. Working knowledge of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets. Willingness to facilitate unpacking and looking at student work protocols and work with any data analysis reporting tools. Duties Attend meetings with building administrator(s) outside of school hours to plan future PD experiences (choosing protocols, aligning outcomes) (no more than 20 hours over the course of the school year). Attend monthly meeting with curriculum directors on Tuesdays, in-person, at central office 3:30-4:30pm. Meeting Dates Participate in a 2-hour summer professional development planning in August. Work with administrators to prepare and facilitate professional development time. Facilitate building-based collaborative inquiry cohorts (This could include: Eureka Squared Module unpacking, Wit and Wisdom Module unpacking, Math implementation support, Science MCAS updates). Facilitate the interpretation of data for curriculum and instructional decisions and student intervention (Example: Looking at student work (FQT) protocol, Data dashboard teacher sheet). Facilitate meetings or support colleagues/principal with facilitation. Assist with communication within the school about scope and sequence, common assessment, and other curriculum information throughout the year.
