Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare facility in Bensalem, PA is seeking a skilled Home Infusion Pharmacist for a contract position. This role focuses on sterile compounding within a controlled environment, emphasizing patient safety and regulatory compliance. Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Duration: Approximately 8+ weeks Key Responsibilities: Prepare customized sterile medications such as IV fluids using strict aseptic techniques. Verify sterile preparations to ensure accuracy and safety. Enforce compliance with USP and other relevant standards. Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technicians assisting in sterile compounding. Maintain and clean cleanroom equipment regularly. Perform final inspections on compounded preparations prior to distribution. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience. Active and clear PA pharmacy license. Proficient with computer systems and pharmacy software. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Work Environment: Supported by one pharmacy technician with low volume workflow.
