Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Denver, NC (ZIP 28037) . In this role (up to 40 hours per week), you will provide both Community Living Support (CLS) and Supported Employment (SE) services, helping our client build independence at home, in the community, and in the workplace.

Schedule & Hours

• Location: Denver, NC (ZIP 28037)

• Total Weekly Hours: Up to 40 hours/week

• Community Living Support (CLS): Up to 28 hours/week

• Supported Employment (SE): Up to 12 hours/week

• Respite Support: Available PRN (as needed)

• Schedule: Flexible scheduling options

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, personal goals, and community participation (CLS).

• Provide job coaching and support during employment hours to assist the client in succeeding in their workplace (SE).

• Provide PRN respite support as needed to promote balance and care.

• Collaborate with clients and their families to understand specific needs and preferences.

• Maintain communication with supervisors and team members regarding client care and progress.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required) .

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or job coaching experience (Preferred) .

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance (Required) .

• Ability to pass a background check.
