Shift: Days (8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.)

Facility: Miami Valley Hospital
Under general supervisor, preps, scans, and validates all types of paper documents into optical scanning system to obtain chart completion. Scans & validates all loose reports that are sent to the department. Responsible for analyzing medical records for deficiencies in chart documentation. Responsible for release of information for continuity of care requests. Assures that guidelines of HIPAA are followed to reduce the hospital’s potential liability in releasing records or protected health information.Responsible for monitoring incomplete charts and follow up with physicians. Responsible for following guidelines of JC and Conditions of Participations and all federal and state. Responsible to perform other duties as assigned and needed.
