Job Overview American Girl Tyson's Corner New Location - Retail Associate, Part Time (R237480). Location: McLean, Virginia. Pay range: $16 – $18.40 per hour. Position functions as part of the Sales team in a busy retail environment, providing expert customer assistance during the summer season and beyond. This is a flexible, year‑round, part‑time role that requires a willingness to work days, nights, and weekends. Responsibilities Approach, acknowledge, and assist customers promptly; manage multiple customers effectively. Assess customer merchandise and service needs, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, suggest upsell opportunities, and advise on product availability. Share store events, promotions, and activities with customers. Process all point‑of‑sale transactions accurately and efficiently. Help resolve customer issues, suggest exchanges for returns, and provide product knowledge. Communicate merchandise and service needs to management in a timely manner. Assist in achieving team and company goals. Qualifications Preferred: Sales experience in specialty retail or service industry. Basic computer skills; experience with a POS system is preferable. Experience working with children is preferred. Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
