Pharmacy Director For Oncology Services

Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Pharmacy Director to lead oncology operations! This position oversees and leads the oncology pharmacy services teams, including clinical pharmacists and clinical pharmacist specialists, operational staff pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. Oncology services span inpatient and outpatient settings and include adult and pediatric patients. The director is vital for ensuring safe medication-related processes for these highly acute, complex populations. Plays a key role in ensuring financial stewardship with high-cost medications and directly impacts the growing clinic and infusion business lines. Responsibilities include medication management and safety and formulary management.

Core accountabilities include implementing strategies for a sub-function with direct impact to the function results, resolving highly complex business issues that are often unprecedented that have immediate impact on own sub-function or entity and wider implications to the organization, applying expertise within professional/technical area and using advanced business knowledge to develop objectives, and leading a sub-function serving the organization at large or across one or more entity(s).
