Registered Nurse (RN) – Federal Correctional Healthcare
Fort Worth, TX
Quality Response Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) for an upcoming federal healthcare opportunity at Federal Medical Center (FMC) Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
This opportunity offers experience within a federal correctional healthcare setting providing direct patient care in a multidisciplinary medical environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Nursing services may be performed within multiple clinical areas, including:
Inpatient Units
Specialty Care Clinic
Outpatient Clinic
Mental Health Units
Administrative Unit
RNs will provide patient care in accordance with:
Federal and State regulations
Bureau of Prisons policies
Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards
American Correctional Association standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties may include:
Performing nursing assessments and direct patient care
Taking and documenting vital signs and patient histories
Administering medications and treatments
Venipuncture and IV starts
EKGs and point-of-care testing
Emergency response and triage support
Assisting providers with routine and urgent patient care
Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
Supporting infection control and patient safety protocols
Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess:
Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
Active Texas RN license in good standing
Current BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
Minimum six (6) months nursing experience preferred
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
Ability to pass federal background clearance requirements
