Sr. Project Manager (Digital Health)

Role Summary The Sr. Project Manager manages the design and commercialization aspects of key products at Tandem Diabetes Care. Responsibilities include driving cross‑functional collaboration, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring timely launch of products. The role acts as a key facilitator in the Product Commercialization Process and leads or participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Serve as internal liaison among engineering, marketing, manufacturing, RA/QA, and product management. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Track progress and provide status updates to executive management. Facilitate corporate Phase Review and Tandem governance meetings. Ensure compliance with Design Control procedures, company policies, Privacy/HIPAA, and regulatory requirements. Lead or participate in product development and process‑improvement projects. Coordinate transfer of product from R&D to manufacturing and external marketing. Represent Tandem at professional and business functions. Manage risks, post‑production launches, and key performance indicators. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent training (or combination of education and experience). At least 2 years of project‑management experience in software, medical device, FDA‑regulated, or ISO 14971 environments. Experience managing projects from inception through post‑market sustaining using phase‑gate or agile methodologies. Proficiency with project‑management tools and agile/scrum practices. Strong communication, advocacy, and persuasive skills. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, SaaS, Business Intelligence or web/cloud applications is a plus. Specialization in diabetes or medical‑device solutions is a plus. PMP, Scrum/SAFe, or CSM certification desired; willingness to pursue certification is acceptable. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $95,000 – $113,000 annually (varies by experience, location, and market conditions). Additional compensation includes bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, health‑savings accounts, flexible‑saving accounts, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and employee stock‑purchase plan.
