In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and manage implementation activities in partnership with experienced project managers, cross-functional teams, and EMS customers who operate under constant pressure. Success requires strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and comfort working in environments where processes, timelines, and project details may continue to evolve. This role is ideal for a developing project manager who is eager to build foundational project management skills, gain exposure to the product development lifecycle, and grow within a mission-driven organization supporting emergency medical services.Essential FunctionsProvide management oversight for each project assignedAbility to manage multiple projects or project phases simultaneouslyManage customer relationship during the projectUnderstand and communicate the project schedule to internal and customer project teams and resourcesManage to the contract to assure complianceProactively identify and mitigate riskMaintain the project plan and its associated components with frequent updates to internal and customer stakeholdersSupport projects where not all requirements are fully defined at the outset, partnering with internal teams and customers to help clarify needs as implementations progress.Apply a learning mindset to new or unfamiliar situations, seeking guidance and incorporating feedback to navigate changing priorities and implementation challenges.Assure successful acceptance and closure of the projectMaintain a high standard of customer service, evidenced by consistently achieving high customer satisfaction ratings upon project completionAssure accurate revenue recognition and accounting relating to each project assigned, as appropriateUnderstanding of and adherence to internal accounting and security requirements, HIPAA and revenue recognition standardsTravel to customer sites (local, national, and international) to attend and conduct project kick-off, status, planning, technical requirement gathering, and project closure meetings as necessary.Represent the company in a professional and competent manner, always, as corporate liaisonManage customer expectations and develop internal and external relationshipsContinue to learn and apply project management methodologies and best practices.Willingly engage in self and professional improvement training utilizing both internal and external training tools and classes.Ongoing contribution to team knowledge sharingRequired/Preferred Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, IT, healthcare, or related field preferred3+ years of external customer-facing project related experience requiredExperience in IT, healthcare, or software support is highly desirable.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBase understanding of PMI conceptsProficiency using personal computers and applications such as Salesforce, Office 365, Excel, SharePoint and other softwareDetail orientated and strong organizational skillsMaturity of judgment under pressure and the ability to work independently and make sound decisionsStrong desire to learn project management practices, healthcare workflows, and technical concepts, with the ability to apply new knowledge quickly.Ability to negotiate successfully with customers and vendorsBalance structure with flexibility to support successful outcomes in real-world implementation scenarios.Strong written and verbal communications skills with excellent professional presenceSolid business acumen with a high level of decision-making skills and the ability to maintain a proactive approach to continuous process improvementAbility to manage numerous activities within time constraints and deadlinesThe annual salary for this position is:$74,000.00 to $110,000.00Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
