Analyst - Security Operations

Job Summary Analyst – Security Operations is part of the Civil Compliance Team within the Verizon Security Assistance Team (VSAT), reporting to Corporate Security. The analyst validates, processes, and responds to civil and criminal subpoenas, civil court orders, and other legal requests to ensure timely compliance while protecting customer information and providing a 5‑star customer experience. Responsibilities Respond to requests and legal demands for assistance by law enforcement and attorneys. Retrieve company records and analyze data pursuant to legal documents. Verify the validity of legal demands and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Document and manage cases end‑to‑end, logging all legal demands served by the company. Collaborate with corporate security, legal, and human resources on internal investigations. Handle incoming calls and provide assistance. Respond to inquiries and demands from attorneys, prosecutors, and other law‑enforcement personnel. Provide guidance to other departments on release of company records. Act as liaison between the company and the law enforcement community while maintaining confidentiality. Provide value‑added feedback to leadership to improve call handling and processes. Review and update methods and procedures to keep resources current. Investigate and resolve inquiries from customers. Travel as necessary for training, court appearances, and presentations (up to 25%). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. At least one year of relevant experience (including military experience). Experience in landline or wireless legal or customer‑service roles. Knowledge of call processing. Willingness to travel up to 25%. Preferred Qualifications Paralegal certification. Knowledge of state and federal laws. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and matters. Knowledge of the Verizon Network and call processing. Customer service or technical support experience. Self‑starter with independent decision‑making and judgment. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and process high volumes of work in a timely and accurate manner. Proficiency with Verizon billing systems (ACSS, iVision, MARS, CoFEE, BARS). Strong interpersonal and organizational/prioritization skills. Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills. Work Location On-site at a defined location(s) within the Verizon network.
