Project Duration: 13 weeks

Pay range: $48-51/hr, based on experience W2 with limited benefits

Shift: Days: 12-hour shifts - 7am-7pm Nights

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry/Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry-level care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience caring for medically complex patients, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients at the medical-surgical and/or telemetry level of care.

Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare team.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

Monitor cardiac rhythms and other relevant clinical parameters for telemetry patients.

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies and procedures.

Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of recent Med-Surg or Telemetry nursing experience.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

12 years of Med-Surg and/or Telemetry nursing experience.

BSN degree.

Professional nursing certification recognized by a Magnet-recognized organization.

Experience caring for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients.

Required Licenses & Certifications:

Active RN license.

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
