About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Risk & Underwriting Manager with a focus on payments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading governance, risk, and compliance initiatives specifically for ACH and card payment programs. This role requires the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and risk frameworks, as well as monitoring regulatory changes to ensure compliance with industry requirements. The VP will also be involved in coordinating audits, examinations, and risk assessments, and will serve as a key partner with legal, operations, and business teams on payment-related regulatory matters. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in payments, banking, risk, or compliance, with a strong knowledge of ACH, card payments, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. Experience with NACHA rules, Visa/Mastercard regulations, UDAAP, and banking operations is essential. The role demands the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and AAP certification is a plus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about payments, risk, and compliance, and will enjoy partnering across teams to build scalable, compliant payment programs.
