About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Services to lead and oversee its commercial lending operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the commercial lending process, including product development, production, credit analysis, underwriting, and servicing. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to grow the commercial loan portfolio, meeting production goals, and fostering community relationships. The Vice President will also be tasked with mentoring and coaching the commercial lending team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years' of commercial lending experience, a proven track record in structuring commercial deals, and a strong background in developing underwriting criteria, particularly in the area of commercial real estate transactions. Applicants for the Vice President of Commercial Services position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A deep understanding of commercial lending, including the ability to analyze and underwrite various types of commercial loans, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a strong network in the local business community and the ability to establish and maintain relationships that contribute to the growth of the commercial lending portfolio. Experience in leading and developing a team, as well as a strategic mindset for business growth, are also key qualifications.
