Take a look at our list of openings below and become a part of the family./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliDesign treatment plans that are motivating, developmentally appropriate and have measurable outcomes./liliAssess the daily/weekly change of your clients, and adjust treatment plans accordingly./liliSensitively consider the client and familys racial, cultural, and socio-economic background when evaluating and developing appropriate treatment plans, with understanding of how a childs life experiences may be impacted by social determinants/liliPartner with families to develop plans for maximum carry-over, with consideration of the familys daily routines, dynamics, resources and ability to extend services into their home/liliActively and collaboratively co-treat with a team of cross-disciplinary clinicians./li/ulh3Skills:/h3ulliHave a strong relationship builder who can easily gain rapport with children and families alike. You take the time to learn about your client and their familys experiences outside of the clinic to develop treatment plans that are both practical and effective/liliKnowledgeable of a wide range of functional adaptive equipment, techniques and strategies and how they are appropriately implemented with age group./liliCurrent with evidence based practices./liliHave time management skills while also being flexible to adjust to changes in daily scheduling, and completing documentation and billing requests on time./liliAdvocate for your caseload and families./liliHave experience working with or caring for an individual with special healthcare needs/liliUnderstanding of the experiences that families encounter when seeking and participating in therapeutic treatment for their children/liliHave respect and understanding for diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, linguistic, socioeconomic backgrounds, abilities, and family structures, and are understanding of how social determinants may impact individuals experiences/li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliLicensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Massachusetts./liliMust pass a CORI/liliMust be able to lift 30 pounds/liliMust love children and playing!/li/ulh3Compensation:/h3ulli$35-38/hr; W-2/lili2 weeks vacation; accrued/lili1 week sick time; accrued/li/ulh3Work Schedule:/h3ulliMonday- Thursday/liliNo Fridays, weekends, or major holidays!/li/ul/div
