Licensed Veterinary Technician

If you're a skilled, outgoing Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys fully utilizing their knowledge and education, Shoreline Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced LVT to join our team! In this role, you will: Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs. Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication. Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity. Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care. This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays (Saturday shifts are 9am-1pm). Full-time benefits and compensation**: Compensation: $30-35 per hour, for each hour worked* CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Minimum qualifications and skill set: 3+ years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington Proficiency in the following skills: Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Assisting in surgery Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service About us: At Shoreline Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to providing quality veterinary care to the Greater-Seattle Area with our modern, full-service medical facility, our friendly and respectful staff, and our caring and dedicated doctors. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
