What You'll Do Under The Supervision Of DVMs Foster a culture built on our values: Respect, Learning, Do the Right Thing, WOW Service, and Fun. Provide professional, efficient, quality medical care and exceptional service to clients while maintaining maximum productivity. Provide updates to clients for hospitalized patients provided by the DVM. Discharge hospitalized patients including possible demonstrations of insulin administration, esophagostomy tube feedings/maintenance, subcutaneous fluid administration, Freestyle Libre use. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for patients. Restrain patients utilizing fear-free techniques. Create and maintain patient medical records and documentation. Obtain and prepare various samples including blood, urine, and fecal samples for diagnostic testing. Perform laboratory tests on samples using in-house IDEXX laboratory machines. Educate clients about pet health needs, nutrition, and preventative care. Fill controlled and non-controlled prescription medications following Washington State laws. Administer medications in various routes following the Five Rights of Medication Administration. Place intravenous catheters and perform venipuncture.
