Job Overview

The organization is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Manager to direct daily operations at its operations facility. The successful candidate will demonstrate a results-oriented approach, a strong commitment to operational execution, and the ability to lead personnel effectively within a fast-paced environment. This position requires well-developed leadership and communication capabilities, an unwavering commitment to workplace safety, and a willingness to engage directly in operational activities. Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

· Direct daily warehouse and pallet production operations.

· Conduct hands-on pallet quality audits and develop a thorough understanding of the repair process to ensure consistent product quality.

· Perform physical duties as operationally necessary, including lifting items weighing more than 50 pounds.

· Provide leadership, training, and direction to large production teams in support of productivity and quality objectives.

· Establish and maintain effective working relationships through regular and timely communication.

· Monitor and manage key performance indicators, including order accuracy, labor productivity, and time management.

· Exercise reliability, initiative, attention to detail, and sound judgment when making decisions under pressure.

· Ensure adherence to company policies, workplace safety requirements, and applicable OSHA regulations.

· Identify and address unsafe practices, enforce established safety standards, and maintain complete and accurate records.

· Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and establish priorities for daily operational objectives.

· Communicate instructions, priorities, and operational updates in a clear, concise, and professional manner.

· Address routine and unforeseen supply chain or operational constraints with sound judgment and appropriate adaptability.

· Monitor inventory levels, implement FIFO practices, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.

Qualifications and Skills

· Demonstrated experience in warehouse supervision or a comparable operational leadership position.

· Well-developed leadership, interpersonal, and professional communication skills.

· Experience within pallet manufacturing, lumber operations, or a comparable industrial environment is preferred but not required.

· Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to develop and present recommendations to management.

· Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively; current certification is a plus.

· Working knowledge of applicable OSHA workplace safety standards.

· Ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste; familiarity with Gemba walks and 5S principles is a plus.

· Ability to communicate effectively with management regarding operational performance, emerging issues, and staffing requirements.

· Proficiency with standard computer applications, including professional email correspondence and Microsoft Excel and Word.
