Equipment Maintenance Tech II - Third Shift

Equipment Maintenance Tech II position at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Grand Island facility supporting production and facilities equipment for medical device manufacturing. Third shift role (11pm-7:30am, Monday-Saturday) in a cGMP cleanroom environment performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment validation.

Responsibilities

Perform daily troubleshooting and maintenance of production and facilities equipment
Execute preventive maintenance and calibration of critical equipment per SOPs
Support production floor with setup and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment
Assist with installation, validation, and process improvements for new equipment
Maintain compliance with GMP safety standards and work instructions

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Trade or technical school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year production or manufacturing environment experience, preferably cGMP facility
Preventive maintenance experience with computerized maintenance management systems
Advanced knowledge of electro-mechanical theory and equipment repair practices
Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers
Ability to work aseptically in cleanroom environments

Compensation: $18.56–$27.97 hourly with shift differential for third shift
