Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced  Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide outpatient orthopedic care in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with orthopedic procedures and a strong commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose fractures and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Review X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging.
• Perform fracture reductions, joint aspirations, and injections.
• Apply casts, splints, and orthopedic braces.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with orthopedic surgeons and rehabilitation providers.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide care in outpatient clinic and telehealth settings.
  

Qualifications

• Active  New York State Physician Assistant license .
• NCCPA certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum 6 months of outpatient orthopedic experience .
• Hands-on experience with  casting, splinting, bracing, and injections .
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
