Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually (DOE)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide outpatient orthopedic care in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with orthopedic procedures and a strong commitment to quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose fractures and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Review X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging.
- Perform fracture reductions, joint aspirations, and injections.
- Apply casts, splints, and orthopedic braces.
- Develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with orthopedic surgeons and rehabilitation providers.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Provide care in outpatient clinic and telehealth settings.
Qualifications
- Active New York State Physician Assistant license .
- NCCPA certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Minimum 6 months of outpatient orthopedic experience .
- Hands-on experience with casting, splinting, bracing, and injections .
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
