Candeeland is a growing family entertainment business in Chandler, Arizona. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day operation and help us build the next stage of the business. This is not a traditional manager role. We are looking for someone who thinks like an operator and entrepreneur — someone who can lead a team, create an exceptional guest experience, improve operations and actively grow revenue. Our ownership team is increasingly focused on marketing, partnerships, growth and future expansion. We need a GM who can own the Chandler operation so we can focus on building what comes next. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $54,000 annual base salary Up to $16,000 in annual performance incentives Quarterly performance bonus opportunity of up to $4,000 Health insurance contribution Paid time off Candeeland employee perks and discounts Opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation as Candeeland grows PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES Your bonus is tied to four measurable areas of business performance: 40% — Revenue Growth 30% — Membership Retention 20% — Party & Events Revenue 10% — Payroll & Cost Management A strong performer can earn approximately $64,000–$66,000 total compensation, while exceptional performance can bring total compensation to approximately $68,000–$70,000. Monitor the playground, café, front desk and party areas Facilitate preplanning and execution of parties & events Maintain a clean, fun and welcoming environment Monitor customer feedback and reviews Coach staff to deliver excellent hospitality TEAM LEADERSHIP Build a reliable, accountable and high-performing team. Hire, train and develop employees Manage performance and accountability Create a positive team culture Develop future shift leaders Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage Lead from the floor — not from behind a desk OPERATIONS & COST MANAGEMENT Own the systems that keep Candeeland running efficiently. The goal is not simply to reduce costs. It's to run efficiently without sacrificing the guest experience. Manage scheduling and labor Control payroll and staffing efficiency Oversee opening/closing, cleaning and facility standards Manage inventory, cash handling and POS procedures Maintain safety and operational standards Identify recurring problems and build better systems Work with vendors and coordinate maintenance PARTIES & EVENTS Own the execution and growth of our party business. Lead and develop Party Specialists Ensure consistent, exceptional party execution Improve party upsells and add-on revenue Monitor party satisfaction Increase bookings and repeat business Develop events that drive traffic and revenue PROGRAMMING & RECURRING REVENUE Candeeland is building programming that will become a meaningful part of our recurring revenue model. Current and future opportunities include: Sprinkle Series Summer camps School and field trips Seasonal events Family programming Classes and enrichment Community partnerships The GM will own the maintenance, enhancement and growth of these programs — including participation, pricing, profitability, guest experience and new program development. REVENUE GROWTH Actively grow every major revenue channel: Admissions CandeeClub memberships Birthday parties Events and programming You will monitor the numbers, identify opportunities and work with ownership to turn ideas into measurable results. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking an experienced leader with 3+ years of management experience , ideally in: Family entertainment Restaurants or hospitality Recreation Fitness Retail Events Children's entertainment Other high-volume customer-service environments You should have experience with: Team leadership Hiring and training Scheduling and labor management Revenue or sales Operational management Performance metrics Problem solving THE RIGHT PERSON WILL: Naturally take ownership Enjoy leading people Notice what needs to be fixed Enjoy working with families and children Understand sales and numbers Be energized by a growing business Want to build something rather than simply manage something Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Ability to stand for 3+ hours Ability to walk approximately 5,000+ steps per shift THE OPPORTUNITY Candeeland Chandler is the foundation for a larger vision.
