While clinical skills are important, our doctors place the highest value on finding someone who is positive, coachable, takes feedback constructively, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team environment.Whether you're an experienced hygienist or a new graduate ready to launch your career, we'd love to meet you!ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care to patients of all ages.Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures as allowed by state regulations.Complete comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs when appropriate.Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, treatment recommendations, and home care techniques.Take and evaluate diagnostic radiographs.Partner closely with doctors and team members to support comprehensive patient care.Accurately document clinical notes, treatment recommendations, and patient education provided.Assist in identifying and communicating periodontal conditions and treatment needs.Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with office protocols and regulatory requirements.Help create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient.Contribute to a strong team culture by supporting teammates and participating in office initiatives.QualificationsCurrent or pending Tennessee Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain licensure before start date).New graduates are encouraged to apply.Dentrix experience is preferred but not required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Positive attitude and patient-focused mindset.Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others.Open to coaching and able to accept feedback constructively.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service.Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and integrity.About Dental Arts of Oliver SpringsAt Dental Arts of Oliver Springs, we pride ourselves on creating a workplace that feels like family.
