Manager Reprocessing Services
Manages daily Central Sterile Processing operations, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, high-level disinfection, distribution, and inventory management.
Ensures quality assurance, equipment performance, preventive maintenance, and compliance with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards.
Oversees staff scheduling, training, competency validation, orientation, and adherence to safety procedures.
Coordinates with physicians, hospital departments, and vendors to ensure timely availability of instruments and supplies for surgical cases.
Manages departmental budgets, labor expenses, inventory, and performance reporting.
Serves as a technical resource for reprocessing, decontamination, and sterilization procedures.
Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, accountability, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage staff, resolve operational issues, and maintain quality and safety standards.
Commitment to ongoing education, staff development, and regulatory compliance.
Duration: 14 weeks
Interview: Phone
Experience: Minimum 5 years; prior sterile processing management experience required
Education: Bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience
Certification: BLS
Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM4:30 PM; evenings and weekends as needed
Required Specialty Experience: Oral Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Robotics, Urology, GYN, Plastics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Pediatrics.
