Clinician: Community Center Based (Non-Licensed)

Overview Devereux Florida provides programs and services for children and families. The Neighborhood for Families Program is a community‑based initiative that delivers intensive therapeutic and supportive services directly within local neighborhoods and community centers to children, youth, and families in Orange County. It focuses on individual, family, couples, or group therapy in non‑clinical settings, helping families who may be experiencing stress, emotional challenges, or early‑stage behavioral concerns before they escalate. Responsibilities Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, families, couples, and/or groups in a community‑center setting. Assess clients, formulate individualized multidisciplinary treatment plans, and provide intensive therapeutic services. Collaborate with treatment team members, case managers, and partner agencies to meet community members’ needs. Position Details Pay Range: Starts at $50,000 annually, based on relevant education and experience. Schedule: Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm with occasional evening and weekend requirements. Qualifications Education and Licensure: Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology; licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida preferred. Experience: Two years working directly with children, adolescents and families, or related experience under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician. Other Requirements: Valid driver's license, age 21 or older, willingness to meet clients in community settings, successful pre‑employment medical screenings (drug and TB test), Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.
