Material Handler II - Shipping - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler II - Shipping - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 4:00pm to 12:45am. The hourly rate for this position is $17.88 plus $1/hour shift differential per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You'll Do:

The Material Handler will provide manufacturing expertise and support in the Storeroom and production area including, but not limited to, allocation of materials, planning, scheduling, verifying, receiving, and shipping with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton's quality standards.

• You will be responsible for picking multiple orders for production assembly
• Resolve warehouse challenges with attention to detail
• Responsible for performing accurate inventory transactions
• Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals
• Support assigned work-area clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Closely follow established procedures for completing assigned function and perform special assignments and/or projects as assigned.
• Executing warehouse transactions through AS400 and use various complex business systems
• Obtain a forklift certification through workplace training

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 6 months manufacturing, distribution, or military experience
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
