Operations SupervisorThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations team, maintenance and regulatory compliance. This position will require expansive pipeline knowledge to assess various pipeline issues, demonstrate sound judgement and recommend corrective measures.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide the Operations team with direction on daily responsibilities, adhere to state, local and company HSE practices and lead the team's safety training initiatives to ensure all current mandated certifications are successfully completedImplement and manage of the following Plans and Program WWM's Emergency Response PlanWWM's Public Awareness ProgramWWM's Operations and Maintenance ManualWWM's Damage Prevention and One-Call ProgramWWM's Drug and Alcohol ProgramWWM's Gas Measurement Standard Operating ProceduresSite Specific Operating ProceduresWWM's Pipeline Integrity ProgramWWM's Operator Qualification ProgramConduct talent management reviews with employeesCollaborate with Engineering team to develop purging and commissioning plans/proceduresEnsure that reoccurring scheduled maintenance is completed and documented on a timely basis as well as submittal of any emergency or periodic reporting obligationsManage small scope capital projects (new interconnects, maintenance capex projects, etc.)Ensure we are operating within the guidelines of our operating permitsManage loss and unaccounted for gasAssist with cash flow management, cost monitoring and ensure operating expenses are within budgetary guidelinesRepresent the Company during communications with landowner/tenants, public officials/emergency officials and at local meetings. (One-Call, Pipeline Groups, Soil Conservation, etc.)Promote a team culture that upholds the highest Company standards related to safety compliance, regulatory procedures and company tariff requirementsCommunicate regularly with Gas Schedulers and Gas Control CenterProvide oral and written communication of activities to appropriate personnelIdentify improvements to and oversee the Company's Health and Safety ProgramResponsible for directing a culture prioritizing health, safety and environmental consciousness and awarenessAct as the company's subject matter expert related to HSE compliance, performance, activities and trends as well as provide guidance to senior managements where applicable.Communicate concerns, audit findings, and strategic solutions for corrective action to senior leaders which align with regulatory compliance and company objectivesDevelop and maintain health and safety and procedures for the companyDevelop and maintain Health and Safety training material, including competency assessmentsDevelop/compile monthly safety meeting material and distribute it to workgroup supervisorsConduct and document monthly safety meetings with direct reportsManage communication and interactions with external stakeholders including government agencies, community groups, HSE professionalsAbility to travel and other duties as necessaryRequirementsAssociate degree; B.S. degree in Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent preferred7+ years of industry experience in gas, oil or similar utility industry; Management experience preferredStrong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyUnderstand economic evaluation for midstream gathering, processing, and transmission projectsSelf-motivated and reliable, requiring minimal supervisionPossess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsExperience with MS Office, SCADA, Allen Bradly systems requiredKnowledge of DOT regulatory compliance requirements associated with a gas transmission pipeline.Flexible to respond to, and address, callouts and emergencies after regular business hours including after dark hoursPossess a valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirementsAchieve and maintain all OQ qualifications and progression requirements applicable to the job classificationMust be willing to travel to project locations as requiredWorking ConditionsMay work in low-lit areasMust be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, occasionallyMust be able to occasionally enter confined spaces, climb to and work from elevated platforms, ladders, walkways, etc.BenefitsSelected candidate is eligible for employer matched 401(k), medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D insurances and other benefit offerings.
