Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a Colorado Springs location. This 13-week assignment involves working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The RN will provide care to neonatal patients, with responsibilities aligned with the needs of a Level 3 NICU, and must be available to work on at least two of the three designated holidays. The position requires flexibility to float within pediatric and pediatric intensive care areas, within a thirty-five (35) mile radius, to meet staffing needs. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); RN licensure; at least 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience; prior travel nursing experience highly preferred; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred Qualifications: Comfort working with patients from birth through 18 years of age; Pediatric, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience Float: Float rotation may be required within pediatric and neonatal units within thirty-five (35) miles of the original assignment location Additional Information: No requested time off within the first two weeks of the assignment. Exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted based on medical or religious grounds. The assignment runs from 09/22/2026 to 12/26/2026, with specific blackout dates for time off as outlined.
