Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring 2+ years of CST experience and robotics experience.

Hospital operating room setting

Days schedule with 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30a-5p

On-call requirements with rotating weekends

2+ years of CST experience required

BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)

Robotics experience required

CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program completion

NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential

License required if applicable

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Prepare the operating room, including setting up the sterile field, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions

Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery

Manage the sterile field and specimens throughout procedures

Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

RTO requests must be less than 1 week

Not eligible if previously worked at this health system as permanent staff within the past 2 years
