Growing to Meet the Needs of Our Community Medical Center of the Rockies continues to grow alongside the communities we serve. A recent major Emergency Department expansion added 22 beds, bringing the department to a total of 42 ED rooms and increasing our ability to care for the growing number of patients who rely on MCR for emergency services. Our growth is more than adding space. It reflects our commitment to expanding access, improving patient care, and preparing for the future needs of our region. A Commitment to Nursing Excellence MCR is part of a Magnet-designated hospital and growing UCHealth campus, with a strong commitment to nursing excellence, quality, education, professional development, and patient outcomes.
