Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly skilled and motivated General Liability Defense Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join their dynamic legal team in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general liability defense, excellent litigation skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation to clients. Duties Handle a diverse caseload of general liability defense matters, including premises liability, personal injury, and property damage. Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings to trial and appeal. Communicate effectively with clients, providing strategic legal advice and updates on case progress. Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses. Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as necessary. Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for efficient case management. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar. Minimum 4 years of experience in general liability defense litigation. Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence in legal work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with insurance defense is highly desirable. Trial experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
