Full-time, year-round position for Assistant Director of Operations for Jordan Public Schools. The Assistant Director of Operations assists with the management, operation, and maintenance of district buildings and grounds, and the operations of a school site TBD. This position helps ensure the efficient functioning of district facilities and provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.

Salary/Benefits: $65,000 - $72,000, depending upon experience. Qualifications: High school diploma required; Associate degree in a related field or comparable training in building trades, engineering or HVAC preferred. Possession of applicable State of MN licenses related to boiler operation and other site-specific certifications as required. Chief C Boiler License preferred. HVAC training preferred. Experience with school district maintenance procedures, methods, and policies. Supervisory experience and the ability to instruct and oversee subordinates. Ability to plan, implement, and monitor maintenance projects and programs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of computer programs and willingness to learn district systems, including electronic work order systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and appropriate appearance. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and create a positive, welcoming environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined spaces (ie: boiler room). Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with no physical restrictions. Ability to perform duties requiring bending, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.
