Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role supports day-to-day facility functionality through preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and continuous improvement efforts.

Pay: $44.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve issues
• Complete work orders accurately and timely using a maintenance management system (CMMS), if applicable
• Conduct inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs
• Repair or replace faulty components, parts, and systems
• Support facility upkeep including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and structural repairs as needed
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
• Assist with installation, modification, or upgrades of equipment and systems
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred
• [25]+ years of maintenance or technician experience in a similar environment
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to [5075] lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Basic computer skills; CMMS experience a plus
• Preferred Skills & Experience
• EPA, HVAC, electrical, or industrial maintenance certifications
• Experience in [manufacturing / warehouse / facilities / property management] environment

• Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certification
