Educate patients and their families on strategies to foster progress outside of therapy sessions.

Occasionally engage in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout each patient's healing journey.

Maintain precise and prompt documentation in line with state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Remain abreast of the latest developments in the field via ongoing education and peer collaborations.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of employment.

Capability in employing evidence-based treatment methods suitable for all age groups, along with a robust understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
