Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain and repair CNC machinery, automated equipment, power tools, presses, cranes, and compressed air systems
• Perform maintenance on company vehicles and mobile equipment, including forklifts, man lifts, and trucks
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, sprinkler systems, fencing, and general building infrastructure
• Assist with facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and machinery relocations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop and work areas
• Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
• Order replacement parts, tools, and maintenance supplies as needed
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that increase equipment reliability and operational efficiency

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent hands-on maintenance experience will also be considered
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial, mechanical, or electrical maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, wiring, motors, controls, and industrial equipment
• Working knowledge of CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment
• Basic understanding of PLCs and ladder logic
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, including voltmeters and AC drives
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools, and other maintenance equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and reach throughout the workday
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment while following all required safety procedures
