Hard Core Pilates is an expanded, vibrant boutique studio located in the heart of Woodland Hills. We are dedicated to delivering an empowering, full-body workout that seamlessly bridges the gap between deep mental awareness and high-definition physical results. Our studio boasts an open, welcoming atmosphere where community comes first, and our signature flows (Foundation, Signature, and Power Flow) challenge clients to safely connect with their "powerhouse" while building sustainable strength. We are currently looking to grow our tight-knit team of movement professionals who are passionate about precision, form correction, and creating an elevated, inclusive class experience. The Role As a Pilates Instructor at Hard Core Pilates, you won’t just be shouting out cues from the front of the room—you will be an active coach, a community builder, and a visual guide. You will lead small group reformer classes and intimate private/semi-private sessions, tailoring progressions and regressions so that every single client leaves feeling seen, supported, and appropriately challenged. Key Responsibilities: Lead Dynamic Classes: Deliver engaging, music-driven, and anatomically sound 50-minute group reformer classes (including our specialized Foundation, Signature, and Power Flows). Prioritize Form & Safety: Provide hands-on or clear verbal tactile corrections, precise alignment coaching, and active modifications for clients navigating injuries or prenatal/postnatal needs. Foster Community: Greet clients by name, cultivate an uplifting, ego-free environment, and build authentic connections that keep members motivated and returning to your shifts. Maintain Studio Standards: Arrive 15 minutes before your shift to prepare the room, ensure all equipment and reformers are clean, reset, and safely maintained, and assist with smooth client check-ins. What We’re Looking For Certification: A comprehensive Pilates certification or a minimum of a Reformer-specific certification from a recognized, accredited program. Experience: Ideally 1+ years of experience teaching group reformer classes in a boutique studio setting, though exceptional recently certified instructors with strong anatomical knowledge are welcome to apply. Skillset: Exceptional rhythmic cueing, space awareness, and a solid understanding of anatomy and exercise sequencing. Vibe: A professional, warm, and grounded energy.
