Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Surgical GI GU Unit - Part Time Nights

Registered Nurse (RN) GI GU Surgical Unit Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Part Time, (2) 12 hour shifts 6:45p-7:15a – Rotating Weekends/Holidays; Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations. Department highlights Self‑Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year The General Surgical Nurse provides care to a wide variety of post‑op patients including: complex gastro‑intestinal, urology and colorectal surgeries with an average length of stay of approximately five days Opportunity to work on a brand‑new unit in the beautiful Justin Tower MAGNET facility Level I Trauma Center Here’s What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire

1. year experience as a registered nurse or the completion of an RN Residency program
2. years med‑surg experience as an RN in acute care setting preferred
