Senior Project Manager

About the Role We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead Stoner’s teams, plan and execute electrical construction projects, and manage project teams while ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Responsibilities (What You Will Do) Manage project development from initiation to completion. Perform electrical bid takeoffs and assemble project bids. Be accountable for project performance and profitability. Work with all stakeholders to complete project outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and budget. Monitor and support field construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. Coordinate project subcontractors and associated contracts. Create and update project budgets and other financial reports. Clearly communicate expectations to team members. Act as mediator between stakeholders and team members. Resolve issues and solve problems throughout project life. Effectively manage project scope, documenting and approving changes with change orders. Lead, coach, and motivate project team members proactively. Procure work and develop new relationships. Qualifications (What You Will Need To Be Successful) Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Solid knowledge of electrical wiring methods, construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles and techniques. A thorough understanding of electrical, building and energy codes and their application to projects and design. Capability in electrical estimating to produce job change orders, evaluate estimates, and assist with new estimates as required. Proficiency with project management tools and software. Experience with Accubid estimating systems is preferred. Knowledge of and experience with integrated job cost systems to budget and evaluate reports. Knowledge of and experience with design‑build delivery models. Experience with identification and quantification of project impacts. Ability to use commercial judgment in customer relationships. Demonstrated leadership managing people. Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills. Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work environment.
