Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and orderly operations.
• Document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in required reports, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
