Senior Accountant

Location: Downtown Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3 Days In Office) About the Company A fast-growing consumer products company headquartered in Downtown Austin is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The company designs and distributes premium consumer goods through retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels and is experiencing significant year-over-year growth. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership while supporting financial reporting, inventory accounting, and continuous process improvements within NetSuite ERP . Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports. Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP. Assist with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and inventory reconciliations. Support financial statement preparation and external audits. Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve inventory and purchasing processes. Utilize NetSuite to improve reporting, automate workflows, and maintain financial accuracy. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP . Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes. Experience with inventory accounting, manufacturing, or distribution environments is preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
