Facilities Maintenance Technician

to support our

Hedrick site in Fremont, Iowa

Relocation is not available.

Perform building, mechanical, and preventive maintenance to support employee and laboratory environments Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, and facility systems Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal partners Order materials and maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS Participate in on‑call rotation as needed

High school diploma or GED ~2+ years of maintenance or skilled trade experience ~ Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical, and building systems ~ Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) ~ Willingness to work weekday day shift with on‑call rotation

Experience with boiler or hydronic systems or Journeyman Plumber License Knowledge of pneumatic systems, electrical controls, BAS, or CMMS
