Here’s the Gist: You will lead an operations team at Wolfspeed’s Durham Manufacturing Site in North Carolina. The Operations Supervisor oversees each aspect of the production process; trains and supports staff and provides vital information on production goals. Your leadership will set the tone for the team’s success. Finally, Safety for your team and product are a vital responsibility. This positionwill work a 12-hour night shift with a "2on-2off-3on" alternating schedule. Schedule will be Blue Nights 7:00pm-7:05amTypical Pay Period:Sun - Off, Mon - Work, Tue - Work, Wed - Off, Thu - Off, Fri - Work, Sat - WorkSun - Work, Mon - Off, Tues - Off, Wed - Work, Thu - Work, Fri - Off, Sat - Off The Day-to-Day: Maintain a safe working environment for all employees Maintain leadership presence by spending at least 80% of your time interacting on the floor Monitor team and individual performance. Evaluate and improve productivity, equipment utilization and overall efficiency Support 5S activities across the entire floor Establish and communicate production priorities. Track performance and adjust priorities accordingly Initiate, encourage, and drive continuous improvement efforts Provide team with constructive and timely feedback. Enforce company and local policies and procedures. Maintain positive working relationships with all levels in the organization. This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): Associate degree or higher in related field Manufacturing experience with 1-2+ years in a leadership role, preferred manufacturing experience as a front-line supervisor (3-5 years) or relevant military experience Passion to inspire and develop employees while working in a dynamic, fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment. Ability to handle change quickly and efficiently – Fast paced work environment This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
