Cardiology physician employment in New Jersey : A New Jersey-based healthcare network is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Outpatient Cardiac team in Bergen County. This long-term locum opportunity offers the chance to manage pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an outpatient setting with a collaborative clinical team. About the Opportunity: Shift: Day shift Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: Four 10-hour shifts per week with one alternating weekday off Setting: Outpatient Cardiac Surgery Office Responsibilities: Manage preoperative and postoperative cardiac surgery patients Conduct outpatient follow-up visits Evaluate and treat post-surgical cardiac patients Perform minor postoperative procedures, including wound debridement and packing placement Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, APPs, and clinical support staff to support patient care Qualifications: Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Current CDS and DEA Cardiac surgery experience Ability to independently manage postoperative cardiac surgery patients Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
