Role Description The Program Coordinator is a contract role responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of WMCA’s civic education and advocacy programs. This hybrid role is based in Franklin, WI, with a mix of on-site activities (such as events, meetings, and outreach) and some work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing program schedules and logistics, assisting in the development and implementation of new program initiatives, and coordinating communication with community partners, volunteers, and participants. The Program Coordinator will help manage program data, track participation and outcomes, support grant or reporting requirements, and provide responsive customer service to community members seeking information or assistance. The role also involves contributing to outreach materials, maintaining program documentation, and collaborating with WMCA leadership to ensure programs align with the organization’s mission and goals.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Program Management and Program Development to plan, implement, and improve community-focused initiatives.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders and communities.
- Experience in Project Management to coordinate timelines, tasks, and resources across multiple programs or events.
- Customer Service skills to provide respectful, timely support and information to participants, partners, and community members.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site responsibilities in Franklin, WI with remote tasks.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Commitment to civic engagement, equity, and inclusion; familiarity with voting, democracy, or community advocacy is a plus.
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities; knowledge of or connection to the Muslim community in Wisconsin is beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, project tracking software).
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in nonprofit work, public administration, social sciences, or related fields.
