Job Summary Job Title: Technician Reports to: General Foreman Location: Dayton, OH / Monroe, OH / Cincinnati, OH FLSA Status: Full‑Time / Non‑Exempt COMPANY OVERVIEW Kastle Technologies Co., LLC (“KTECH”), an EMCOR Company, is a leading low‑voltage integration services company providing preconstruction, construction, and services in a variety of markets, including automotive, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and mission critical. KTECH is one of six Ohio‑based business units under parent company Quebe Holdings, Inc. SUMMARY This position pays up to $32.40 / hr. and includes paid health insurance (at no cost to you) and paid pension and annuity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling. Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment. Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc. Assist in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition. Accomplish work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI. Update as‑built drawings as necessary, according to department policies. Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc. Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification. Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, depending on the position. High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of the Low Voltage Integration or ICT industry. BICSI and/or AVIXA certification desirable but not required. Valid Driver’s License. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to commute to field locations and various job sites. The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations.
