Leasing Consultant Overview AvalonBay Communities, Inc., an equity REIT, develops, redevelops, acquires, and manages distinct apartment homes in leading U.S. markets. Responsibilities Exceptional customer service skills; creating a sense of community and going the extra mile to create a spectacular experience for new residents. Sales and marketing: personalized connections and recommendations drive leasing performance; create excitement through campaigns, outreach, and social media. Follow-through: continuously reach out with tailored updates to prospective residents based on their needs. Demonstrate a genuine desire to help both residents and colleagues in creating a better way to live. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in real estate or property management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
