Here, you'll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions. 2nd Shift: 1:30 pm - 9:30 pmAbout the role: With general supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals in the MCT Laser Cutting factory(i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety). Work Mode At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week Relocation Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. VISA Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.Your responsibilities will include:Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtimeModify existing and develop new tooling and fixturesRevise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/productWork with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipmentAssist in writing validation plans, executing plans, and completing validation reportsAssist in Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savingsCollect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization, Cpk, and scrap reduction goals.Work with Process Development to bring new products into productionWork with departmental customers to improve material quality and deliveryTrain and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other techniciansRequired qualifications: 1 year of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalentThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
