Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and active Illinois Occupational Therapy certification/license required.
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic interventions and IEP processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and flexible scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services within a school setting.
• Assess students to determine eligibility for OT and appropriate therapeutic goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress.
• Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as required.
