AGC, Private Credit Counsel - Global Investment Firm

Overview We are currently partnered with an established Investment Manager seeking to add a key Transactional contributor to support its private credit business. This individual will work closely with the investment team on private placement bonds, loans, asset-backed securities, and alternative asset investments. The role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-level transactions and serve as a subject matter expert in private credit. This position reports directly to the General Counsel and is part of a dynamic, collaborative legal team supporting the firm's successful and growing platform. Responsibilities Provide legal support in connection with complex investment transactions. Deliver a high level of comprehensive transactional legal support directly to business clients, including responsibility for analyzing, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated legal documentation. Review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, and oversee the preparation of bond powers, certificates, and other documentation related to secondary sale transactions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the firm, including operations, investment product and fund services, legal and compliance, portfolio management, tax, and information technology. Requirements JD from a top-tier Law school 6+ years of corporate finance experience, either in private practice or in-house at a well-established asset manager Hands-on experience supporting the full lifecycle of private credit investments Strong background drafting and reviewing complex commercial loan and investment documents, including private placements and bank loans Familiarity with private credit and real estate fund strategies, such as investment grade private placements, asset-backed securitizations, infrastructure, bank loans, and specialty lending #J-18808-Ljbffr Larson Maddox
