Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse (MS REHAB) is needed in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized inpatient rehabilitation care on a dedicated unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to join a unit recognized for excellence with highly experienced staff and engaged leadership.

Job Details:

• Location: Overland Park, Kansas
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, rotating every third weekend
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS certification preferred; preferred CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) certification; experience on inpatient rehab units is highly valued with an average of around 20 years of staff experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehab documentation knowledge, ACLS or PALS certifications, BLS certification
• Additional Information: Unit is recognized as a Unit of Distinction for 2021; staff highly experienced; leadership is highly engaged; extensive resources for inpatient rehab services; team-oriented environment
• Clinical Responsibilities: Surgical, neurological, orthopedic, and medical patients requiring increased therapy; post-stroke patients; surgical patients with neuro or orthopedic needs
• Equipment/Systems: EMR system Meditech
