Busser

A newly opened restaurant in North Tonawanda is seeking dependable and energetic Bussers to join its front-of-house team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in supporting a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. Bussers play an essential role in maintaining a clean and organized dining area while assisting the service team to ensure every guest has a memorable visit.

Responsibilities:

• The Busser is responsible for restaurant dine-in and takeout operations, cleaning, running food, bussing restaurant tables and side work

• They will assist with catering orders, including delivery when applicable

• All Team Members must demonstrate customer service expertise by providing an individualized, exceptional guest experience

• Guiding guests through their experience while taking, placing, and reviewing orders for takeout

• Understands the restaurant menu to identify the different menu items for takeout, able to guide guests on choosing menu items, and ready to answer guest's questions

• Review orders with the Guest (at pick-up or upon delivery) and / or with Delivery Driver ensuring order accuracy

• Delivers amazing hospitality experience to guests anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests' expectations

• Clears, cleans, and sanitizes restaurant tables, bussing dishes to kitchen dishwasher station and resets tables as needed

• Also, removes bus tubs from the bar to kitchen dishwasher station

• Restocks, cleans, and maintains all restaurant stations

• Understands restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food within the restaurant

• Will serve food or beverages for dine-in and takeout

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy kegs and boxes.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.
• Able to lift 80 pounds at a time.
